WW98 Trip Fans,

(info current as of 10:00pm PST)

Just heard from John - they've made it to Honolulu ahead of schedule. Duration was 9:45 - 45 minutes less than planned due to excellent tailwinds.

Climbout was strong - still at 500 fpm up to 18,000 feet. John said he was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Ponceby.

Fuel calcs were accurate within 1.5%. There was some minor venting from the left main during flight (it was full at the time) so they are planning to burn an hour from each main to prevent this in the future.

No contrails were sighted. No airplanes were sighted. A lot of water was sighted, along with two big grins.
