Now that Doug and John are in familiar territory, we seem to have lost contact with them. They may or may not be using Universal to cross the States - I suspect not, but their flight is still open at Universal - confusion reigns.

I assume they are following the schedule Doug posted several days ago in the discussion section - I'm reposting it here in lieu of real flight following, because I don't think we're going to get any for the remainder of the trip - hard to say. After practically writing a book along with flying around the world, I'm sure Doug and John need a break from their documentation chores. On the few serious adventure flights I've been on with John (Honduras and South America), I was definitely worn out by the end, so I'm not expecting any poetry out of these two until later... Maybe a post or two...

Since they've flown across the country so many times, this leg may not even count as an adventure...

Return to San Jose (at the Jet Center, I assume) is scheduled for mid-day Sunday. I do not have a more exact time. If I get one, it will be posted in this space as soon as possible.

---- Most recent planned schedule from Doug ----

We're in the Azores tonight, planning our last oceanic crossing to St. John's, Newfoundland, in the morning. Thursday, we'll fly from there to clear US customs in Bangor, Maine, and then continue on to Danbury, CT, Thursday afternoon. Overnight with Doug's family in CT, then to Erie, PA, to visit John's Mom Friday night. Saturday to somewhere in the mid-West, and home to California midday Sunday. What a long, strange trip it's been! See you all soon. --D.
